Long Range Planning
The Long Range Planning function of the Development Services division plays an integral role in how the City of Penticton grows .

The folowing planning documents have been adopted by Council:

Plans Currently in Progress
The City's Long Range Planner is currently involved in the preparation of the following planning documents, which will guide the future development of the areas identified below.
Spiller / Reservoir Road Neighbourhood Plan
- This neighborhood concept plan is being prepared by a consultant and involved the participation of a steering committee and the City of Penticton Long Range Planner. The consultant is currently completing the final draft and will be scheduled for public consultation in summer 2011.
Skaha / Peachtree Urban Village Plan
- The City's Long Range Planner is currently in the process of completing a Draft document for the City's first Urban Village Plan. It is scheduled for public consultation for the end of July 2011.
North Gateway Urban Village Plan
- This project should commence in fall 2011, once the Skaha / Peachtree urban village plan is complete.
Upper Valleyview Area Plan - Phase 1
- This area plan is being prepared by a consultant and involved the participation of City of Penticton Long Range Planner. This plan is scheduled for public consultation in summer 2011
Upper Wiltse Neighbourhood Plan
- The consultant preparing the document has advised that a Draft Plan will be submitted in mid 2011 for review by Long Range Planner.
