Lakawanna Park work

The public is advised that work will be conducted in the Lakawanna Park area within the next couple of weeks. This is a short-term project that is anticipated to take one to two days in total, and will result in a level playing surface for children.

Lakawanna Park is located across the street from Okanagan Beach, at the corner of Power Street and Lakeshore Drive. It is a quaint family park with a fenced playground and several features:

  • four acres
  • picnic area
  • washrooms and concession
  • playground
  • water spray park
  • tennis courts
  • free parking
  • beach and lake access
