City plan for potential Canada Post work stoppage

In light of a possible Canada Post labour disruption starting July 7, 2016, The City of Penticton would like to remind the public that the Province has not relaxed penalty interest for non-payment of property tax. Payments must be received on time before July 29, 2016. If you have not yet mailed your property tax payment, it is recommended to pay in person, through online banking, through our external drop box or by courier to the City.

The City has prepared a contingency plan for other mailings in the event of a Canada Post work stoppage.

We will update information here as the situation changes.
