“It is very important for residents to get involved early in this work,” says Ben Johnson, Special Projects Manager. “The guidance from the community will set the scene for the development of the OCP vision and land use policies and the direction for future development and growth of our community.”

The upcoming visioning sessions continue the conversation started with the Valentine’s Day Kick Off and provide a fantastic opportunity for the community to get together and provide direction for the development of the next Official Community Plan.

Official Community Plan Task Force members will be on hand at the events to hear community feedback. Staff will also be reaching out to various community groups over the next several weeks to gather their input into the vision.
