Council
The City of Penticton invites members of the media and public to attend Council meetings and keep informed of Council news. Council meetings are typically held the first and third Monday of every month, starting at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers, on the second floor of City Hall, 171 Main St.
- Council meeting agendas are always posted on the website before meetings.
- Council minutes are also posted online upon approval.
- Live video of meetings is streamed online, and the footage is archived on the City of Penticton website as well.

Members of Council also permit their Council contact information to be posted publicly, so members of the media and public can reach them directly.

The City of Penticton has gone social! Social media tools provide you with ways to stay informed and current on City services and programs. These tools connect you with immediate access to news, information, city programs and events that may affect you.

Bylaws
Are you looking for a specific bylaw as background for your story? The City of Penticton has posted all of its bylaws online. They are searchable by name and classifications, which include administration, business, community standards, finance, land use and services. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please contact us.
Reports
Municipalities are required to prepare an annual report before June 30 of each year. The City of Penticton's annual reports are about being accountable to the public and reporting on all major changes and developments which have occurred during the past year. The annual reports provide each department's objectives and accomplishments, as well as initiatives for the upcoming year.
The City of Penticton began quarterly reports in Q2 of 2010 in order to build more transparency into the organization and reflect the corporation's most recent progress on a quarterly basis.
Newsletter
The City of Penticton distributes a newsletter to residents and businesses through the monthly utility bills. PDF versions are archived on the City's website and available for download.
