Bylaw Enforcement is managed by the Clerk's Dept. and is responsible for the enforcement of all City Bylaws.

Penticton’s Bylaw Section is staffed by three Bylaw Officers who assist many City department and Community partners such as Police, Fire Department and Community groups to ensure Penticton is a great and safe community to work, live and visit. 

The Bylaw Section works to promote compliance with City Bylaws with key areas of involvement typically including:

• Property Maintenance
• Traffic and Parking
• Land use issues
• Noise and Nuisance.

This service is primarily accomplished through enforcement activity but also includes public relations, education and awareness.
