Artist's Statement

Laila Campbell has lived in the Okanagan for the past eight years. Laila is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and her works have been chosen for numerous juried, group and solo shows in commercial and public galleries and wineries in Penticton, Kelowna, Winfield, Oliver, Sicamous and Kamloops BC.

Laila has contributed works to various fund raising events such as Theo's Art Auction and the Dream Boxes for the Art Gallery of the South Okanagan. She was chosen as the feature artist for the 2001 Medowlark Festival, and her theme painting "What Habitat?"© has been produced in a ltd. edition print and commemorative wine label for the festival. Two of Laila's other works were chosen for the covers of the City of Penticton tourism map and for the Wine Country Guide book.
