You may access most files available from the City of Penticton through our download section: www.penticton.ca/files
These downloads require nothing more than a web browser.

Uploads

If you must send a large file to City staff, you may upload it to us using an FTP Program... Please contact the Information Technology Department for the current upload settings.

You should notify us whenever a file is uploaded and specify which department/staff person it is to be directed to.

FTP Programs

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Programs are well known Internet programs used to facilitate the transfer of large files across the net. If you do not yet have an FTP program, there are many available for purchase. You may first wish to search the web for try-out versions or download and install the freeware program listed below:
