Peach Classic Triathlon

4 am to 2 pm

Lakeshore Drive will be closed from Winnipeg St. to Martin St.  Start and Finish line in front of Rotary Park.

Sunday, August 4, 2019 

Okanagan Dream Rally 

At approximately 11:30 am the rally will arrive from Kelowna and will turn left onto Riverside Dr. and proceed east on Lakeshore Dr. to Power St. where they will head south along the Channel Parkway towards the Airport for lunch.  Duration of traffic impact expected to be no longer than 1 hour.

10 am August 8 to 4 pm Saturday, August 10 - Lakeshore Drive closed from the east side of Veterans Way to Front Street

Wednesday, August 7 to Sunday, August 11 

Penticton Peach Festival & Parade

Parade to take place on Saturday, August 10. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Main Street and Eckhardt Avenue. Participants move north on Main Street, turn left on Wade Avenue, right on Winnipeg Street and will end on Lakeshore Drive at the Rose Garden car park.

Sunday, August 11 

McDonalds Kiddies' Day Parade 

Registration will take place at 10:30 a.m. and judging begins at 11 a.m. at Nanaimo Square - Nanaimo Ave West (near the water fountain). At 11:30 a.m., the RCMP and a Penticton Fire Department truck will lead the participants north on Main Street, east on Lakeshore Drive and into Okanagan Lake Park through the Centennial Plaza entrance.
