The City's HELP is a loan service available through the City of Penticton for eligible energy efficiency upgrades made by City of Penticton residents that own and occupy their own homes. To qualify, you must be a Penticton Electric Utility customer, meet City of Penticton credit approval and currently reside in the home being upgraded. The maximum loan amount is $10,000, to be repaid over 10 years on your monthly Electric Utility bill.  The City of Penticton HELP program will run until December 31, 2022.

HELP can be used for the same energy efficiency retrofits that are eligible for rebates through the Fortis BC's HERO Program and  improvements recommended in the Home Energy Assessment done on your home.
