TIME program supports those with mobility challenges
October 6, 2015
The latest Penticton Community Centre program is designed to put more movement into your TIME.
The Together In Movement & Exercise (TIME™) Program is a community-based exercise program tailored to people who are suffering from balance and/or mobility challenges.
This group exercise program is designed by physiotherapists at Toronto Rehab, and led by fitness instructors in more than 25 community centres across the country.
This is a program for people who could become less and less active because of the movement challenges they face. TIME puts them in motion to improve their health and well-being through exercise.
Each class lasts one hour and consists of a seated warm-up, several exercise stations and a cool-down.
The Penticton Community Centre is proud to be part of the solution. With a growing population of people with mobility challenges, it is important to see programs like this in Penticton.
Courses will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., for 10 weeks starting Oct. 13. The cost is $139 for the full program (20 classes). To register, use Course # 42173 and call 250-490-2426. Visit Recreation Penticton's webpage.Go to Top
