Citizen Survey set to kick off; results to assist with strategic planning

The City of Penticton is gearing up to issue a Citizen Survey aimed at gathering feedback from residents in the areas of quality of life, city services and city priorities.

Residents interested in participating are encouraged to complete the survey online at or by completing hard copies available at the Seniors’ Drop-in Centre, City Hall, the Library and Community Centre. The last Citizen Survey was conducted in 2013.

“Citizen surveys are an important form of measurement that allow Council and staff to evaluate services and measure changes either year over year or city by city,” said Engagement Strategist, JoAnne Kleb.  “The information collected is of considerable value for Council and staff when planning annual budgets, setting priorities or evaluating services.”

The survey will be available to complete starting April 18 and will remain open until May 3.

“We encourage everyone to get involved and share their thoughts,” said Kleb.

In appreciation for completion of the survey, participants will be entered in a draw with a chance to win one of 10 gift cards valued at $100 each from a variety of stores.
