McLaren Arena reopens January 3

NEWS RELEASE

Repairs to a gas meter at McLaren Arena were completed today. The arena will reopen and Holiday Public Skating activities will resume as scheduled on Thursday, January 3.

“I want to thank Fortis and our City crews for their quick work over the holidays,” says Bregje Kozak, Recreation and Facilities Director. “There are still a few days left in the holiday schedule to go for a skate or to play some hockey before it’s time for the kids to go back to school.”

On Thursday, patrons can enjoy a Public Skate from 3:30 pm to 5 pm or Stick ‘N Puck from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. Visit www.penticton.ca to see the complete Holiday Public Skating Schedule.
