To receive a Mail Ballot as a Non-Resident Property Owner, you will need to submit the following (It may be best to call Elections at 250-490-2473, or email us at email@example.com
so that we can walk you through what is necessary and provide a way to get this information to us):
- A document that shows you own the property for which you are voting. Examples of acceptable proof of ownership documents are Certificate of Title, Property Tax Notice or Property Assessment Notice. Photocopies are acceptable; original documents will not be returned to you.
- Two pieces of identification must be provided (copies only please, originals will not be returned) and will be destroyed once identity is confirmed.
- If you are not the sole owner of the property in question, then the majority of the registered owners must complete the Non-Resident Property Elector Consent Form
- A form to register as a Non-Resident Property Elector
