Accessibility Committee

An Accessibility Committee is a requirement of the Accessible British Columbia Act in which organizations must establish an Accessibility Committee, develop an accessibility plan and a process for receiving public feedback.

The Accessibility Committee will make recommendations to Council based on the actions identified in the City of Penticton Accessibility Plan 2023- 2026 and assist in identifying accessibility and inclusion barriers and advise how to remove and prevent any barriers that the community members experience in the course of interacting with the City.
