Make a positive impact on your community by joining one of Penticton’s committees or task forces. 

If you’re interested in serving as a volunteer, download the application below or pick up a printed copy at City Hall reception, 171 Main Street. Please submit your completed application to Committees@penticton.ca or in person at City Hall, 171 Main Street.

Council may establish and appoint committees to consider or inquire into any matter and to report its findings and opinion to Council. Council Committees do not have the authority to take action or incur expenses without Council’s approval. Council provides approval by way of a resolution passed at a meeting of Council.

Committee proceedings are outlined in Council Procedure Bylaw 2018-35. Committee members shall appoint a Chair at the first meeting. All committees are open to the public to attend.
