Home Energy Loan Program (HELP)

How would you like to make your home more energy-efficient and save money on your electricity bills?  HELP is here, the City of Penticton is proud to offer residents its Home Energy Loan Program (HELP), which can work in conjunction with Fortis BC's rebates for insulation, air sealing and more.

About the HELP Program

HELP is a loan service available to residents through the City of Penticton for eligible energy-efficiency upgrades. To qualify, you must be the registered owner(s) of the property being upgraded,  be a Penticton Electric Utility customer, hold the utilities account in the registered owner name(s), and meet City of Penticton credit approval. The maximum loan amount is $10,000, to be repaid over 10 years on your monthly electric utility bill.

Energy Assessment & Solar Study Program for Multi-Unit Buildings

The City of Penticton is offering free energy assessments and solar generation studies for a limited number of stratified multi-family buildings. To determine eligibility and apply, please fill out the online application here. Once received, staff will follow up with eligible buildings on a first-come, first-serve basis. For more information about this program, review the links below.
