With over 70 years of history in our community, the Penticton Peach Festival is still going strong, welcoming residents and visitors to a ‘peach of a time’ during the summer months. Join Peach Festival past-president, Don Kendall as he discusses the festival’s history, how it has grown over the recent years, and how it is important for Penticton.

Don Kendall was president of the Penticton Peach Festival for 13 years (until October, 2022), when he became past-president. He is on the advisory board of the South Okanagan Events Centre. During a 40-year career in the newspaper industry, he served as publisher in Vernon, Penticton, Honolulu, Seattle and San Francisco.

The Brown Bag Lecture Series is an opportunity to spice up your lunch hour with interesting presentations and discussions on a variety of heritage and culture topics.
