
The Brown Bag Lecture Series hosted by the Penticton Museum and Archives is an opportunity to spice up your lunch hour with interesting presentations and discussions on a variety of heritage and culture topics. Join us Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m. in person at the Museum Auditorium (785 Main Street). Admission is by donation. Suggested donation is $2 for adults, $1 for children.

By making some strategic choices in your yard, you can increase the wildfire resiliency of your property. Join us to learn about fire-resistant plants, as well as tips on how to create a FireSmart landscape around your property.
After serving three seasons with the BC Wildfire service, Miyoko now operates as the FireSmart Coordinator for the City of Penticton. Miyoko is a certified Local FireSmart Representative and a Wildfire Mitigation Specialist, allowing her to assess properties and provide wildfire risk reduction recommendations.
