Here are 4 things to know about the OneWorld Festival:
1. It is a brightly coloured mosaic
Multicultural music and dance featuring local performers will take center stage, while cultural groups and artisans will display and sell their artefacts, crafts, books and more.
2. It is a journey for the taste buds
Sharing food with others is inherently social and brings people together. The OneWorld Festival exposes us to flavours that speak of heritage and culture.
3. It tells a story
Information booths tell the stories of local immigrants taking us on the journey to explore beautiful cultures and traditions of our diverse community, helping us connect and share experiences.
4. It is welcoming, inclusive and accessible
OneWorld Festival brings our community together! Over 2500 residents attend this event annually. A variety of interactive activities, games and crafts entertain the entire family. Admission to the OneWorld Multicultural Festival is free and everyone is welcome.
