• Discovery Park

  At Skaha Lake Park, 3701 Parkview Street 

  Discovery Park is a natural playground incorporating elements from nature. This includes rocks and logs for climbing, a playhouse and swings, musical instruments and so much more.

  This park was made possible in part from a donation by the South Okanagan Children’s Charity.  

• Rotary Playworld

  At Skaha Park (Cypress Street and Elm Avenue)

  Rotary Playworld is an adventure playground geared toward ages 2-12, featuring a swing set, washrooms, seasonal concession, seasonal splashpad (May long weekend to September long weekend), picnic tables and parking.

  It was originally constructed by the Penticton Rotary Club and City of Penticton in the early 1990’s and quickly became Penticton’s flagship playground. The play equipment has since been updated to include barrier-free accessibility and engineered wood fibre surfacing.

• Lakawanna Playground

  796 Lakeshore Drive West

  Located across from Okanagan Beach, Lakawanna Playground is geared toward children age 5-12, featuring a swing set, seasonal splashpad (May long weekend to September long weekend), washrooms, seasonal concession, picnic tables and parking.

  It was originally built through the efforts and support of the Miracle Fund, Penticton Rotary Club and the City of Penticton. Recently, the playground surfacing was upgraded to engineered wood fibre, which meets accessibility standards.

• Kiwanis Park

  470 Edmonton Avenue

  Kiwanis Park is an adventure playground for children age 2-12, also featuring picnic tables and parking.

  It was originally constructed through the efforts and support of the Kiwanis Club of Penticton and the City of Penticton. It has recently been surfaced and upgraded to engineered wood fibre, which meets accessibility standards.    

• Lions Park Playground

  198 Warren Avenue West

  Children from ages 5-12 will enjoy the Lions Park Playground, complete with swing set, seasonal washrooms (Spring-Fall), seasonal concession, lawn for playing sports or picnicking, picnic tables and parking.

  The playground was constructed through the efforts and support of the Penticton Lions Club and the City of Penticton. 

• Dunant Neighbourhood Park

  186 Dunant Place

  Dunant Neighbourhood Park offers a small playground geared toward children between the ages of 5-12. It features a swing set, greenspace for kicking a ball or laying out blankets and picnic tables. Note it does not have on-site public washrooms.

  The playground was reconstructed through the efforts and support of the Penticton Okanagan Rotary Club, the City of Penticton and the Friends of Dunant Park Committee.

• Granby Neighbourhood Park

  90 Granby Avenue

  Granby Neighbourhood Park offers a small playground for ages 5-12, primarily used by nearby residents. It features a swing set, lawn and picnic tables. Note it does not have public on-site washrooms.

  The playground was reconstructed through the efforts and support of the Penticton Okanagan Rotary Club, the City of Penticton and the Granby Neighbourhood Park Committee. 

  

• Sendero Park

  2047 Lawrence Avenue

  Sendero Park's small neighbourhood playground has a climbing rock, swing set, picnic table and benches. Note it does not have on-site washroom facilities available.

Splash Pads

• Rotary Playworld at Skaha Lake Park

  Adventure playground ages 2-12, swing set, washrooms, seasonal concession, seasonal splash pad, picnic tables, parking.

  Rotary Playworld was originally constructed by the Penticton Rotary Club and City of Penticton in the early 1990’s and quickly became Penticton flagship playground. In 2009 the play equipment was updated and included barrier-free accessibility, including new engineered wood fibre surfacing.

  Important Update

  ⚠️  Skaha Lake splash pad renovations coming soon! In the meantime, water shoes are strongly recommended. The splash pad at Skaha Lake has reached the end of its lifespan and is due to be replaced ahead of next season, with a new design and equipment. Rather than close the facility this summer, the City has made some minor repairs and is asking users to be cautious as the surface has uneven concrete and may be rough for bare feet. The new design is thanks to a contribution from the Rotary Club of Penticton and with a design concept created in partnership with the En’owkin Centre. 
   

  

   

• Lakawanna Park

  Located across from Okanagan Beach, Lakawanna Park is a popular spot during the summer months. It’s a quaint spot with water spray features, a swing set and fenced adventure playground for children aged five to 12.

  You’ll also find shaded areas, benches, picnic tables and lake views. Pack a picnic and relax as the kids cool off in the spray features, which operate 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily from May long weekend until late September.
