We believe recreation should be accessible to everyone. The following financial assistance programs are available to residents of the South Okanagan.
Access Passes are available to people who have a permanent cognitive or physical disability. Access Pass holders are entitled to a 25% discount off 10 ticket, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month and 12 month passes to the fitness room, pool or combo fitness room & pool (including promotional deals).

Jumpstart – Canadian Tire
Canadian Tire supports the Jumpstart program throughout Canada. The South Okanagan Chapter supports children who live from Summerland to Peachland who have an economic barrier to recreation. Apply online at www.jumpstart.canadiantire.ca

Funding is available to provide assistance for children 6-18 years old who live in Penticton, Kaleden, Naramata and the Penticton Indian Bands to participate in Sport BC recognized leagues and programs. The KidSport Penticton program is sustained by contributions from individuals and corporate sponsors.
KidSport is an organization separate from the Community Centre and City of Penticton. The Community Centre supports KidSport with a mailbox and provides the KidSport application form. Drop off your completed application form at the Community Centre, 325 Power St. The Penticton KidSport Committee will be in touch.

LIFE Program (Leisure Involvement for Everyone)
LIFE is designed to provide free and low-cost recreation opportunities through the Penticton Community Centre to residents of Penticton on a limited family income. View the LIFE form online or visit the Community Centre for a hardcopy. Return your completed form, along with all required documentation, to the Community Centre, 325 Power Street.
