Lace up and hit the ice at McLaren Arena, your go-to location for public skating, sports games and other ice activities. The arena also hosts dry floor activities in the spring.
Users must pre-register for public skating programs prior to visiting the facility.

Our open public skating offers the classic loop skate that we love!
Skaters are required to monitor their activity and maintain appropriate physical distancing (2m). Adults supervising children are responsible for monitoring and enforcing appropriate behaviour and physical distancing (2m) while in the facility.- CSA approved helmet or winter helmets are not mandatory but strongly recommended
- Registration required, regular admission rates apply.
- Rental skates are available and must be reserved with your registration.**One third of the ice is available for guardians with youth under age 5.

Grab your sticks and hit the ice for a game of preschool Stick ‘N Puck. The new guidelines welcome participants for a modified game that reduces points of contact. This pick-up game follows Hockey Canada’s COVID-19 game play modifications. Children must be accompanied on-ice by an adult guardian who is responsible for monitoring and enforcing appropriate behaviour and physical distancing (2m) while in the facility.- Gloves and CSA approved helmets required.

4v4 Registered Stick N Puck

Facility Rental Information
McLaren Arena is available for rentals! You’ll find spectator seating for 250, four change rooms, a referee room and a meeting room on-site.
