Jason Reynen is a lifelong South Okanagan resident, entrepreneur and dedicated father of four. Elected to Penticton City Council in 2025, he brings a pragmatic, hands-on perspective shaped by years in the trades, small business ownership and active community involvement.
Jason owns a successful mechanical repair shop in Penticton and previously operated a CrossFit gym. Early in his career, he spent a decade working in the oil fields, experiences that instilled a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills. His commitment to personal challenges is exemplified by completing an Ironman triathlon. Recognized for his leadership and business acumen, Jason was honoured as a “Top 40 Under 40” recipient.
With deep roots in the community and a straightforward approach to governance, Jason focuses on practical solutions that address the needs of Penticton residents. He values transparency, fiscal responsibility and initiatives that enhance the city’s livability.
Outside of his council duties, Jason is a devoted family man who enjoys the active lifestyle that Penticton offers. He remains committed to contributing to a safer, more affordable and balanced future for all residents.
