Are you ready?
Disasters happen without notice. Take steps to prepare yourself and your household to reduce their impact.
Emergency preparedness is a responsibility we all share. Disaster resilient communities are made up of people who practice everyday readiness such as having a household plan, knowing your neighbours, making sure your cellphone is always charged, your vehicle has at least 1/2 a tank of gas, and having a few extra non-perishable food items on hand. If you are well prepared, you will be in a better position to help your family, friends and neighbors during an emergency or disaster.
