Attend an information session for the proposed transitional housing site

Service Announcement

The City of Penticton and BC Housing will be holding a series of information sessions in the coming weeks related to the proposed transitional housing site at 616 Okanagan Avenue and 2088 Dartmouth Drive.

City Council voted on Nov. 4, 2025 to postpone a decision on this matter and to hold information sessions with the public, with the Temporary Use Permit to return for a Council decision on Dec. 2, 2025.

An in-person information session will be held at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 5-7 p.m. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the temporary housing program, hear a presentation from City staff and to ask questions one-on-one with project partners about the proposal. Council will be in attendance to hear from the community as well.

For those who cannot attend, two virtual opportunities will be announced at a later date to ensure that staff and Council can hear from as many people in the community about the proposal. We will share more details about the in-person and virtual sessions next week.
