Boil Water Notice lifted for 200+ homes located south of Brantford Ave

The City of Penticton, in collaboration with Interior Health, has rescinded the boil water notice effective immediately for the 200+ homes located south of Brantford Avenue.

Following daily testing and regular monitoring of the system since the notice was put in place on Nov. 30, 2022, the City and Interior Health are confident that the water quality of the system is now safely within drinking water guidelines. Users can resume normal use of the water supply and boiling is no longer required.

The City understands the impact that this notice had on the users of the system and appreciates the support received by the community. Staff are hand delivering notices to all affected homes to notify them of this update.

Homes affected included:

  • Lakeside Road – all residents south of Skaha Marina to City limits
  • Brantford Avenue – all residents
  • Finnerty Road – all residents
  • Derenzy Place – all residents
  • Lakeside Court – all residents
  • Smythe Drive – all residents
