Service Announcement
The City of Penticton is completing bus stop construction on Government St. in front of Penticton Regional Hospital. Starting Monday, July 6, 2020 there will be intermittent closures of the south bound lanes of Government St. to facilitate changes to the sidewalk and curbs on Government St. for the next two weeks.
This will only affect south bound traffic. We advise commuters to avoid the area and take alternate routes. During closures, access to the Penticton Regional Hospital emergency room will still be available via Carmi Ave. However, access to the Hospital parkade and main entrance will need to be made from Industrial Ave. and the northbound lanes of Government St.
