The City of Penticton is expanding access to facilities and services to support residents displaced by the Bald Range Wildfire (K51490).
Extended Public Washroom Hours
To assist evacuees, all City outdoor public washrooms will be open 24 hours a day until further notice.
Locations include:
• Jubilee Pavilion
• Lakeshore
• Riverside
• Okanagan Lake Park
• Gyro Park
• Kings Park
• Sudbury Beach
• Skaha Beach
RV Sanitary Disposal and Potable Water Services
Midtown RV is assisting evacuees by providing access to RV sanitary disposal and potable water services for those displaced by the wildfire.
Location:
Midtown RV
310 Industrial Avenue West, Penticton
Services Available:
• RV sanitary waste disposal
• Potable water fill station
• Pull-through access for RVs of all sizes
Hours of Operation:
• Sunday, August 9: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The City extends its sincere appreciation to Midtown RV for supporting residents impacted by the current evacuations.
Overflow Parking for Trucks / Campers
There is parking located at these additional locations:
Penticton Secondary School Parking Lot (158 Eckhart Ave E.)
Access to Water: Please note the City’s Quench Buggy is also located at this location for anyone parked there requiring water.
Cherry Lane Shopping Centre (2111 Main Street)
Oversized parking for trucks and trailer/campers is available at Cherry Lane Shopping Centre.
