City facilities closed for Family Day, attend the free event in Gyro Park

City facilities including City Hall, City Yards, the Penticton Community Centre, McLaren Arena, Penticton Public Library and the Penticton Museum & Archives will be closed Monday, Feb. 20 for Family Day.

All facilities will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

On the Family Day holiday, the City and community sponsors are hosting a fun-filled day in downtown Penticton at the Activate Penticton Outdoor Rink and Gyro Park. The free Family Day event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20. Bring your family and your skates and enjoy a bouncy castle, free hot chocolate, outdoor family games and food trucks. Activate Penticton will have their outdoor rink open and ready for skating fun with free skate rentals while sizes and quantities are available.
