City facilities including City Hall, City Yards, the Penticton Community Centre, McLaren Arena, Penticton Public Library and the Penticton Museum & Archives will be closed Friday, Nov. 11 for Remembrance Day.
City Hall and City Yards will reopen on Monday, Nov. 14. All other facilities reopen with regular hours on Saturday, Nov. 12.
For those interested in attending Remembrance Day ceremonies, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 40 parade will form at Penticton Trade and Convention Centre parking lot at 10 a.m., followed by a ceremony inside the facility at 10:30 am. An outdoor ceremony will also be held at 10:30 a.m. at Veteran’s Park in the 100 block of Main Street.
