City of Penticton issues emergency surveys to gather feedback amid COVID-19

News Release

The City of Penticton has issued two emergency surveys to find out how our community has been financially impacted by COVID-19.

“We’re calling on you, our residents and the South Okanagan business community, to tell us how you’ve been affected.  The results will help guide critical City Council decisions as we move ahead with relief and recovery measures,” said Penticton Mayor, John Vassilaki.

Two surveys are available: one for residents and another for South Okanagan businesses. Local Penticton business owners can fill out one or both.

Completing the survey is easy by either:

  • Going online at
  • Calling the City’s Call Centre at 250-490-2345 to submit responses over the phone. Hours of operation are: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed weekends, Good Friday and Easter Monday).

Due to the urgency, the window to complete the surveys will only remain open until midnight, Thursday, April 16.

“With so many people at home, all looking for new things to do, there’s never been a better occasion to complete a five minute survey on the future of our City,” said Vassilaki.
