With ongoing road closures on major highways affecting mail delivery, the City of Penticton is spreading some holiday cheer by not charging penalties on late utility bills due during the month of December 2021.
“The holiday season is a time that can be stressful both emotionally and financially,” says Penticton Mayor, John Vassilaki. “We want to provide our residents a small gift by way of giving our utility bill penalties a Christmas vacation so there’s one less thing to worry about this holiday season.”
To find out the balance due on the utility bills, residents can either come in to City Hall (open from 9:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday), phone the Utility Department at 250-490-2489 or email utilities@penticton.ca.
Residents can view utility bills through our online portal MyCity. If you haven’t already, register now.
