The FireSmart team is extending the FireSmart bin application deadline to March 15. These bins are being provided to support wildfire resiliency and FireSmart activities on private property. With spring and summer just around the corner, now is the time to be proactive against wildfire.
If your neighbourhood is interested in a FireSmart bin, applications can be found at www.penticton.ca/FireSmart, or by contacting the Penticton FireSmart team at FireSmart@penitcton.ca.
Applications will be reviewed and priority given to neighbourhoods within the Wildland Urban Interface. Completed applications, including required attachments, can be emailed to FireSmart@penticton.ca.
