In the spirit of the holiday season, the City of Penticton and the Downtown Penticton Association (DPA) will once again provide free transit and parking in the downtown on Fridays and Saturdays in December. This annual campaign is to encourage residents to support downtown businesses and shop local.
Free transit and parking will be available on the following dates:
- Friday, December 3, 2021
- Saturday, December 4, 2021
- Friday, December 10, 2021
- Saturday, December 11, 2021
- Friday, December 17, 2021
- Saturday, December 18, 2021
- Friday, December 24, 2021
- Saturday, December 25, 2021
Please note this will only apply to on-street metered parking stalls in Downtown Penticton. City parking lots and private parking lot rules remain in effect. The on-street pay parking system will resume on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
