Penticton motorists are advised that Cantex-Okanagan Construction Ltd will commence road repaving and bike lane installation work on Eckhardt Avenue from Winnipeg Street to Main Street on Tuesday, September 24 with an estimated completion date of Friday, October 18.
The contractor will be performing the works between the hours of 7am and 5pm, with traffic periodically reduced to one alternating lane to facilitate the work.
“Motorists and cyclists are advised to allow extra time to travel through the work zone and to obey all traffic personnel on site during the project,” said Design Supervisor, Tyler Figgitt. “The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. We thank their public for the patience while construction takes place.”
