Hear the results of the Community Safety Resource Review

The City is hosting two online information sessions next week to review the findings of the Community Safety Resource Review that was released mid-December. Anthony Haddad, General Manager of Community Services, will be joined by researcher Curt Griffiths to review the results of the study that was conducted to determine how resources should be best allocated to meet ongoing demand for protective services. Findings from this review will be considered by Council as they identify their strategic priorities for this term. Anyone interested in attending an Online Info Session is asked to register at shapeyourcitypenticton.ca/focus-on-safety

If you are unable to attend the online information sessions, copies of the report are available for the public to review at the Penticton Public Library and City Hall or online at shapeyourcitypenticton.ca. Further opportunities to discuss the findings of Community Safety Resource Review in person are also expected to be provided as part of engagement in the 2023-2027 Financial Plan coming in March.
