Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for the Okanagan and the City of Penticton wants to remind residents and visitors of the steps they can take to beat the heat.
- Stay safe by drinking plenty of water
- Stay cool by taking a dip or stopping in the shade
- Check in on neighbours to make sure they're doing okay.
- Watch for how the rising temperature impacts your pets
