Those seeking office in the October 15th municipal election can file nomination documents starting next Tuesday, August 30 at 9 a.m.
The positions are mayor, six council seats and four positions as school trustee. The paperwork can be picked up at City Hall or downloaded from the City website.
“We encourage people to make an appointment to file their papers” says Angie Collison, the City’s chief election officer, “to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.”
The close of the nomination period is September 9, 2022 at 4 p.m.
