The City of Penticton will hold a short media briefing today at 12:00 pm on the status of the Christie Mountain Wildfire and associated evacuation alert impacting 3669 Penticton properties. Representatives from the City of Penticton will be in attendance to provide a statement and answer questions. Media are invited to attend the briefing, which will take place outside the Fire Hall #201 at 250 Nanaimo Avenue. While at the event, please wear a mask and follow protocols for social distancing.
Please note, only representatives with the media will be allowed to attend in person. A video recording will be posted to the City of Penticton's social media channels following the event.
