Residents Encouraged To Review 2018-2022 Financial Plan

Penticton - In advance of the upcoming 2018 Budget Talks scheduled November 22 through 25, residents are encouraged to review the 2018-2022 Financial Plan and overview document now available at shapeyourcitypenticton.ca/budget-talks. In addition to containing detailed information on all areas of the City’s 2018 budget, the document also contains summary information highlighting Council’s strategic priorities and key spending areas including: growth and development, the Official Community Plan, safety and enforcement, asset management and geographic information system enhancements.

For residents wishing to provide their input on the financial plan, the City has planned multiple opportunities where they can learn more and ask questions. Upcoming dates are as follows:

2018 Budget Talks

Nov. 22

4 pm to 7 pm

Business Night

Members of the business community are invited to drop in

to discuss the plan with staff and attend a presentation at 5:30 pm.

Nov. 23

3 pm to 7 pm

PTCC

Community Night

Residents are invited to drop in to view the displays, share

their feedback with staff and attend presentations at

3:30 pm or 5:30 pm.

Nov. 25

10 am to 1 pm

PTCC

Community Day – Family Fun with Par-T-Perfect!

Residents are invited to drop in to view the displays and

share their feedback with staff. Par-T-Perfect will be on site

to entertain the kids with holiday crafts and activities.
