Motorists and pedestrians are advised that a daytime road closure along a section of Backstreet Boulevard, from the intersection at Font Street through to the car park entrance behind Burger 55, is scheduled for Monday, Nov 5 to Tuesday, Nov 6.
The closure is required while crews make connections to a storm sewer main.
The sidewalk on the north side of Backstreet Boulevard will remain open during the duration of the works. Crews will reopen the road to traffic Monday evening and then reclose it, Tuesday morning.
“The City of Penticton thanks the public for its patience while this work is carried out”, said the City’s Communication Manager, Philip Cooper.
