Temporary traffic control coming to South Main Street roundabout

Service Announcement

As landscaping progresses along South Main Street, traffic control measures through the roundabout will be required beginning Tuesday, Aug. 5 in order for crews to continue to work safely in the area.

Entrances to the roundabout will be single lane alternating traffic, administered by automated flagging machines and monitored by traffic control personnel. Anyone travelling through the area should anticipate delays and allow extra time, particularly during peak morning and afternoon times.

Work will occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. and includes installing irrigation, testing water lines, planting trees and shrubs, and laying ground mulch. Completing landscaping is the final step of the Lake to Lake Route project. Work is expected to complete in late August.

Please slow down, allow extra travel time and obey posted signage and traffic control personnel.
