Crews will complete important water and electrical upgrades at the Main Street and Eckhardt Avenue intersection from March 24 to 25. This work requires a full road closure and a temporary watermain shutoff.
The intersection will be closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. on March 24 to 6 p.m. on March 25. Work will continue overnight to finish the upgrades as quickly as possible.
A temporary watermain shutdown will take place overnight from 9 p.m. on March 24 to 7 a.m. on March 25.
What to expect:
• Detours will be in place, but drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
• Local access to homes and businesses will be maintained.
• Residents affected by the watermain shutoff will be contacted directly by the contractor.
Crews will return later this spring to complete final road restoration and traffic signal upgrades. More details will be shared at that time.
