Service Announcement
A licence is required for every dog four months or older residing in the City of Penticton for more than 30 days per year. Licences must be renewed on or before January 31each year. You can renew your dog license in-person (see below) or use the City's Online Payment System
There are discounts if your pet is spayed/neutered. Late renewals are subject to additional fees. A complete list of licencing and other dog related fees can be viewed on theFees and Charges Bylaw.
Licences can be purchased at:
- City Hall - 171 Main Street between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday
- SPCA - 2200 Dartmouth Drive between noon and 5:00 pm Monday through Saturday, excluding statutory holidays(cash only)
- Dog Shelter - 2330 Dartmouth Drive. If you are unable to purchase your licence at the SPCA during regular office hours, contact the Dog Control Officer at 250-492-3801 or e-maildogs@penticton.cato set up an appointment
