Drivers are advised that the City is implementing an all-way stop control at the intersection of Dartmouth Rd and Okanagan Ave E. The change is scheduled to take place by noon on October 26.
The decision to install the all-way stop is based on Council endorsed recommendations brought forward from the City’s Transportation Safety Committee and Traffic Engineering Consultant.
“The new all-way stop is intended to improve safety at this intersection. Drivers are reminded to use caution around the intersection as people adjust to the new configuration”, said Engineering Services Design Supervisor, Tyler Figgitt.
