Notice of Removal for Lakeview Cemetery seasonal plastic flowers, ornaments, rock, etc.
2018-15 Cemetery Management Bylaw.
This a reminder to the public to please remove all plastic flower arrangements and any other items from grave markers, concrete tablets and columbarium niche vases by March 31, 2021, to allow for spring maintenance.
From April 1 to October 31, only fresh flowers are permitted.
The only items allowed on concrete tablets are:
- Two solar powered lanterns
- Fresh flowers in the supplied vase
The Caretaker will remove any personal possessions (pictures, frames, boxes, shells, toys etc.) on any graves, concrete tablets and columbarium niche vases, these items will be set aside until April 30 after which time they will be discarded.
