Starting July 5, 2021, the Penticton Public Library will be extending its hours by adding service availability on Mondays and Tuesday evenings after overcoming a year of challenges with COVID-19.
You’ll be able to come in and check out materials, browse the shelves, or use a computer six days a week, with the return to our regular hours. The library will also be opening on Sundays for the winter (after Thanksgiving).
“We’re thankful that the City of Penticton was able to see the value in the Library and fund our extended hours,” said Chief Librarian Heather Buzzell. “We know our patrons appreciate having more opportunities to visit.”
Most programs will remain online through the summer, with a few special outdoor events being planned as the Library restores full services.
