Getting Around
This event is expected to draw crowds in the tens of thousands. Residents are encouraged to leave the car at home and walk, ride bikes or take transit wherever possible. The City is offering an extended bus service through BC Transit, with park 'n' ride stations set up at two locations. It's also offering a free bike valet service at Okanagan Lake Park.
Anyone who opts to drive to the downtown core during the festival is reminded to slow down, anticipate extra foot traffic, and watch for signage and road closures. Also take note of the extensive road closures on Saturday, Aug. 8 for the parade and Saturday markets.
