How to watch election results

Service Announcement

Once the polls close at 8 p.m. on October 15th, Penticton residents will have several options for viewing the results.

In-person: A screen will be set up in the lobby of the Penticton Trade and Convention to allow viewing of the vote counting being done. After the votes have been counted, the Chief Election Officer will come out to the Lobby to announce the preliminary election results and share the total votes cast for each candidate.

Online: Residents can watch the vote counting and the live announcement at www.penticton.ca/elections. This feed will begin as soon as the last ballot is cast.

Facebook: Live results will be streamed on the City of Penticton’s Facebook page.

The final results will also be posted on the City’s website after the announcement is made.
